I am a native of Hampton, Virginia but with my dad being in the Army/Navy we made our final home Charleston, SC. I am also an Alumni of NCHS and love everyday that I can come to school and serve these awesome students. I have been a member of the faculty since 2001 starting the media center and working my way to this exceptional department. I hold a dual Masters in Computer Technology/Web design, as well as a Masters in Library Science. I have 6 semesters completed working on my PhD in Educational Leadership. I am going to pursue in 2018 going through the State Dept of Education my teaching certification. I have 2 handsome sons and a beautiful daughter in law. We also have a gorgeous little Shitzu named Jackson who is in charge and loves ice cream and coke. We love beaches, soccer and spending time with family.

I am a 24 year old, 3rd year teacher at NCHS. I went to Appalachian State but I am from Kansas. I went to Appalachian State and I have a 85 lb. Great Pyrenees named Roxy. Our EC program is incredible. We provide each student with a unique education that fits their individual needs. We also surround them with career exploration and experiences that prepare them for transitioning into the next phase of the students' lives. I believe that every student can achieve and learn anything with the appropriate accommodations and the correct supports. We never give up on any student and we are relentless in making sure each and every child receives the education that they deserve.
