Biology 1 is a laboratory-based survey course of living organisms and the interaction of these organisms with the natural world. Students will explore topics such as Ecology, Cellular Structure, DNA, Genetics, and Natural Selection. Students will learn new vocabulary and perform laboratory activities regularly.

Honors Environmental Studies

Honors Environmental Studies is a broad science course that covers topics in a variety of science disciplines such as earth science, biology, ecology and chemistry. This course is designed to cover a variety of topics and prepare the student for AP Environmental Studies. 

This course includes a laboratory and field investigation component. A minimum of one class period or its equivalent per week is spent engaged in laboratory and/or fieldwork. In this laboratory course students are expected to follow scientific methodologies, collect data and make accurate hypotheses.
